Activation and configuration for calendar-controlled test execution are managed in the test execution settings. Here, you can specify whether a test execution is allowed or blocked for the defined appointment categories at a test resource.
  • Blocklist mode: test executions are blocked as soon as calendar appointments with the defined categories are active.
  • Allowlist mode: works in reverse and only starts test executions if the corresponding appointment category is present in the calendar booking.

Test tasks cannot start if the new setting blocks all suitable test resources. They remain in a waiting state. This is visible on the test task itself.

test.guide Release
The test resource detail page displays in real time whether or not a test execution is blocked by a calendar booking.
