Scenario-based platform for the inspection of automated driving functions
In order to guarantee the functional and product safety of automated driving functions along the entire system life cycle, novel test and validation concepts are necessary.
The initial combination of data from different technological areas into scenarios for test and inspection is complemented by a new methodology for creating additional, interpolated scenarios. These can be categorized by criticality and representativity and used accordingly. Via open interfaces, scenarios can be linked with additional environment information such as traffic and weather. The platform will be tested and demonstrated in a SiL/HiL application environment. It shall effectively support testing solutions for rollout and continuous assessment of automated vehicles in Germany.
TraceTronic supports the requirements specification as well as the development of the platform. Beyond that, TraceTronic leads the development of description tools for physically realistic scenarios and takes part in building the application environment.
