In the basic training, our experienced trainers will guide you from understanding the essential fundamentals of test automation with ECU-TEST to create reusable test cases. Testers and function developers will learn how to quickly create new test cases with a systematic approach. Main focus of this training will be to develop the skill of writing generic test cases that have a high reusability potential.

In the advanced training, these fundamentals are consolidated and new features of ECU-TEST are explained. Trainees learn more about continuous exchange of test cases. Additionally, this seminar explains how to set up and record performance data (traces) and how to analyze them.

ECU-TEST Basic Training

• Part 1: Fundamentals to test automation and ECU-TEST, classification of ECU-TEST in the test landscape, structure and components of ECU-TEST, generic test case creation
• Part 2: Creation of a test configuration and an example test case, hands-on exercises at the software ECU-TEST, set up of a test bench configuration, execution of test cases

ECU-TEST Advanced Training

• Relevance and structure of a multi-level mapping concept using the ASAM standard HiL-API
• Takeover of test cases from Model-in-the-loop to Hardware-in-the-loop
• Explanation on how to use efficiency increasing functionalities of ECU-TEST demonstrated on an example
• Hands-on exercises on the computer
